I remain optimistic that true love does exist—even in this modern jungle of emojis, swipe-lefts, and dating profiles that list “professional overthinker” as a personality trait. I’m based in Europe, happily alone if I choose to be (but let’s be honest, Netflix isn’t getting any cuddlier).
Recently, I met some European girls in Zurich, and I must say—I was pleasantly surprised. There’s something refreshing about their traditional values, directness, and the kind of honesty that makes you question whether you’ve been too polite your whole life. It’s like, “Wow, you’re just saying how you feel? Revolutionary.”
So here I am—trying modern methods, armed with old-school hope, possibly over-caffeinated, and definitely open to seeing what the universe sends my way. Good luck to all of us brave hearts. Let’s see what happens!
